Core Values
Ubabalo NeThemba Church is a Reformed, Evangelical church and the following is a summary of our core beliefs:

GOD HAS SPOKEN
The Bible is God's reliable teaching for today. It says all we need for salvation and serving God.

THE CROSS OF CHRIST
Jesus died to bear the punishment we deserve. We depend on him alone to be forgiven.

JESUS IS OUR LIVING LORD
God raised Jesus bodily from the dead to be our living LORD. He opened the way to heaven.
​
CHRIST WILL COME AGAIN
Jesus will return to judge us all. No one will escape punishment unless they trust and obey him.

GOD'S SPIRIT IS WITH US
God's Holy Spirit gives new life and helps us know and grow more like Jesus. We need his power.

TRUST AND OBEY
To be forgiven, we must learn to trust in Christ alone and learn to follow him. He is our King.

IN SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH
We try to worship God with simple sincerity, not ritual. We learn to listen to him through the Bible not in mystery.
​
SPREAD THE WORD
Christ commanded us to make him known to others. We long for others to discover his love.
